Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Berkeley Township Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, are actively investigating a triple homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of March 10, 2026, in Berkeley Township. Preliminary findings indicate that three individuals were fatally shot. The suspected shooter subsequently turned the weapon on himself and has been pronounced deceased at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
“This investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional information will be released at the appropriate time,” Prosecutor Billhimer stated.
