During the course of an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau, a forensic examination of Fay’s cellular phone was performed by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad.  That examination led to the discovery of a video depicting child sexual abuse material.  Fay was charged accordingly on October 16, 2025; he surrendered himself to Brick Township Police Headquarters and was transported to the Ocean County Jail where he is presently lodged pending a release hearing.

Prosecutor Billhimer commends the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau for their collective efforts in connection with this investigation.

The charges referenced above are merely accusations and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
