BRICK TOWNSHIP MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO POSSESSION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on January 28, 2026, Marc Fay, 42, of Brick Township, pled guilty to Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material before the Honorable Linda Baxter, J.S.C.  At the time of his sentencing, currently scheduled for March 27, 2026, the State will be seeking a five-year term of probation with the condition that he has no unsupervised contact with minors and no internet access.

During the course of an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau, a forensic examination of Fay’s cellular phone was performed by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad.  That examination led to the discovery of a video depicting child sexual abuse material.  Fay was charged accordingly on October 16, 2025; he surrendered himself to Brick Township Police Headquarter and was transported to the Ocean County Jail.  He was subsequently released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform.

Prosecutor Billhimer commends Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Shanon Chant-Berry who is handling the case on behalf of the State, as well as the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau for their collective efforts in connection with this investigation.
