Billhimer announced that Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force collaborated with Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Gang Task Force to investigate the distribution of illegal narcotics in Ocean County.
A two-month long investigation revealed that Harry Clayton, 45, del municipio de Ocean (Condado de Monmouth), was distributing cocaine in Ocean County. En marzo 12, 2026, Detectives from the aforementioned agencies established mobile surveillance on Clayton. Detectives observed Clayton at a residence in Neptune City. Clayton then exited the residence and left the area in a motor vehicle. Un corto tiempo después, Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office effectuated a motor vehicle stop on the vehicle Clayton was operating. As Clayton was ordered out of the vehicle, Detectives observed him attempting to obscure items in his pants before exiting the vehicle; Clayton obstructed Detectives’ efforts to secure the items from his person. Clayton was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Detectives then executed a court-authorized search warrant for Clayton’s motor vehicle.
