Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Jackson Township Police Chief Matthew Kunz announced that the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Jackson Township Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Jackson Township on August 2, 2021, at approximately 2:15 a.m.
Prosecutor Billhimer and Chief Kunz wish to stress that there is no danger to the public at this time. More information will be released as it becomes available.
