Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Berkeley Township Police Chief Karin DiMichele announced that on Thursday, March 19, 2020, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the Berkeley Township Police Department will be presenting “An Evening with Dianne Grossman,” founder of Mallory’s Army, at Central Regional High School.
Dianne Grossman founded Mallory’s Army in honor of her daughter, Mallory Rose Grossman, a 12 year-old student who tragically took her own life as a result of relentless bullying both online and at school. In the wake of her daughter’s death, Dianne has become an anti-bullying advocate, speaking to children and adults about the effects of bullying and effective tools to prevent bullying.
“Chief DiMichele and I urge parents to join us to listen to Mallory’s story. To hear Dianne explain to parents what Mallory endured is the very least we can do to honor Mallory’s memory. Kids go through so much these days. It’s so important for all of us, parents especially, to be aware of the signs which show our children are struggling. The presentation is free, and we would love to see the auditorium filled with caring parents on March 19th,” Prosecutor Billhimer stated.
The presentation begins at 6:00 p.m. and admission is free. Central Regional High School is located at 509 Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville, New Jersey 08721.
