Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on April 2, 2022, a Traffic Enforcement Detail will be initiated between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in the towns of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, Toms River, Lavallette, Mantoloking, Bay Head and Point Pleasant Beach.
“Officers from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Seaside Heights Police Department, Toms River Township Police Department, Lavallette Police Department, Mantoloking Police Department, Bay Head Police Department, Point Pleasant Beach Police Department, and New Jersey State Police will have extra patrols on the road looking for signs of impaired and erratic driving,” Prosecutor Billhimer stated.
“If you see someone you believe is creating a hazard due to poor driving activity, please dial #77 from a hands-free mobile device to contact the aggressive driver tip line and make a report. Please be prepared to provide a description of the vehicle and occupants, its location and direction of travel, and a license plate number if possible,” Prosecutor Billhimer concluded.
