Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on April 13, 2026, Seption Diggs, 30, of Trenton, pled guilty to Distribution of Fentanyl before the Honorable Dina M. Vicari, J.S.C. At the time of his sentencing on May 29, 2026, the State will be seeking a term of ten years New Jersey State Prison.
In the Summer of 2025, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force collaborated with Federal Bureau of Investigation-Red Bank Jersey Shore Safe Streets Task Force, United States Drug Enforcement Administration–High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Group 5, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Aeriel Surveillance Unit, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Special Response Team, Jackson Township Police Department Special Enforcement Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Patrol Division, and Jackson Township Police Department K-9 Unit, to conduct a two-month-long investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in Ocean County. This cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified Diggs as an individual distributing heroin and cocaine in the Ocean County area.
On August 5, 2025, Detectives from the aforementioned agencies established stationary and mobile surveillance on Diggs in Trenton. Detectives observed Diggs meet with Ahmia Tillery, 27, of Trenton, and enter her vehicle as a passenger. The vehicle left the Trenton area and traveled towards Jackson Township. Officers from the Jackson Township Police Department effectuated a motor vehicle stop on Tillery’s vehicle, at which time Diggs and Tillery were taken into custody without incident. Detectives then executed a court-authorized search warrant on Tillery’s motor vehicle. As a result, Detectives seized quantities of heroin and cocaine.
In furtherance of this investigation, Detectives seized a total of approximately 2,580 individual doses of heroin as well as 59 grams of cocaine.
Diggs and Tillery were charged accordingly and transported to the Ocean County Jail. Diggs has remained detained in the Ocean County since August 5, 2025. On August 12, 2025, Tillery was released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform.
The charges against Tillery remain pending.
