TWO TRENTON RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH NARCOTICS DISTRIBUTION

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force collaborated with Federal Bureau of Investigation-Red Bank Jersey Shore Safe Streets Task Force, United States Drug Enforcement Administration–High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Group 5, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Aeriel Surveillance Unit, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Special Response Team, Jackson Township Police Department Special Enforcement Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Patrol Division, and Jackson Township Police Department K-9 Unit, to conduct a two-month-long investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in Ocean County.  This cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified Seption Diggs, 30, and Ahmia Tillery, 26, both of Trenton, as individuals who were distributing heroin and cocaine in the Ocean County area.

 

On August 5, 2025, Detectives from the aforementioned agencies established stationary and mobile surveillance on Diggs in Trenton.  Detectives observed Diggs meet with Tillery and enter her vehicle as a passenger.  The vehicle left the Trenton area and traveled towards Jackson Township.  Officers from the Jackson Township Police Department effectuated a motor vehicle stop on Tillery’s vehicle, at which time Diggs and Tillery were taken into custody without incident.  Detectives then executed a court-authorized search warrant on Tillery’s motor vehicle.

 

As a result of this investigation, Detectives seized approximately 2,450 individual doses of heroin and 43 grams of cocaine.

 

Diggs was charged with Possession of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Distribution of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin, Conspiracy to Possess More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Possess More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Diggs was transported to the Ocean County Jail where he has been detained since August 5, 2025.

 

Tillery was charged with Possession of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Distribution of More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin, Conspiracy to Possess More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to Possess More than One Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tillery was transported to the Ocean County Jail and subsequently released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform.

 

Prosecutor Billhimer commends the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit, United States Drug Enforcement Administration–High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Group 5, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Aeriel Surveillance Unit, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Special Response Team, Jackson Township Police Department Special Enforcement Unit, Jackson Township Police Department Patrol Division, and Jackson Township Police Department K-9 Unit, for their collaborative efforts in connection with this investigation.

 

 

The charges referenced above are merely accusations and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
