Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer has announced that although it was originally reported that the Brick Township Police Officer fired upon on August 14, 2023 in Brick Township suffered no injuries, it has since been learned that the Officer did, in fact, suffer minor injuries to his arm from glass shards as a result of the shot fired at the windshield of his patrol vehicle. The Officer was transported to Ocean University Medical Center in Brick Township, where he was treated for his injuries and subsequently released.
