Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor
Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Michelle Armstrong, who grew up in Ocean County, earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from then-Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) in 1990. In 1991, she earned a certificate in funeral service from Mercer County Community College, and thereafter received her funeral director’s license from the State Board of Mortuary Science of New Jersey.
In 1994, Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Armstrong earned her law degree from Villanova University. While in law school, she held the position of legal intern at the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office during the summers of 1992 and 1993. She was admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars in 1994.
In 1995, former Ocean County Prosecutor Daniel J. Carluccio appointed Ms. Armstrong to be an Assistant Prosecutor. Over the last 29 years, she has effectively served the people of Ocean County with great skill and talent, and has been an outstanding advocate for the rights of crime victims. In July of 2024, Ms. Armstrong was promoted to the position of Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor by Prosecutor Billhimer.
Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Armstrong is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association.
