Corruption works hand in hand with Professional Standards and is responsible for investigating the corrupt practices of government employees that may or may not be in law enforcement. Assuring the integrity of local government is necessary for citizens to have trust in their government. Assistant Prosecutors and Detectives trained in government practice prosecute these cases.
